Credit: Leah SteigerSammy Hagar and his current band The Circle have put together the second installment in a series remotely recorded performance videos that the Red Rocker has labeled “Lockdown Sessions.”

The new clip features Hagar, bassist Michael Anthony, drummer Jason Bonham and guitarist Vic Johnson performing a rocking abbreviated rendition of The Who‘s classic “Won’t Get Fooled Again.”

The video, which has been posted on Sammy’s official YouTube channel and social media sites, combines footage of each band member playing their parts separately while they shelter at home because of the coronavirus pandemic. In Hagar’s case, he recorded his vocals in his shower stall.

Sammy writes of the performance, “Another week in lockdown at me and the boys from the Circle had to get another jam! I have always loved this tune maybe my favorite [W]ho song ever! Stay Healthy. Stay Home. Stay Tuned.”

Late last month, Hagar and The Circle posted their first lockdown video, which showed the band playing a new original song called “Funky Feng Shui.” Last week, Sammy also posted a clip of him performing a solo acoustic version of Bill Withers‘ “Ain’t No Sunshine” in tribute to the pop/soul singer-songwriter, who died March 30 at age 81.
